Elle UK (June 2005) says:
WHAT MEN THINK IS ATTRACTIVE (excerpt)
The Perfect Proportions
At first glance Marilyn Monroe (buxom and curvy) and model Kate Moss (flat-chested and bow-legged) seem to have little in common besides their status as icons. But according to Devendra Singh, PhD, professor of psychology at the University of Texas, "Kate Moss and Marilyn Monroe share the same waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). And whether your body is considered attractive relies on that number."
Research shows that men consistently find women with a WHR (divide your waist measurement by your hip measurement) of between 0.68 and 0.8 the most attractive, with 0.7 being the ideal (a number Moss, Monroe and Naomi Campbell share). Translated to real life that means an in-an-out figure that is neither super curvy (read Jane Manfield) nor skinny-hipped (sorry Ms Hilton) but somewhere in between. "It's a matter of proportion," continues Singh. "You could be a size 8 or a size 16 but if you have the right WHR you have a shape that's pleasing to men."
Please tell me it's not just as superficial as this.

London Eye given eviction notice (!?)
£1 million rent demand, which is an increase of more than 1500%.
So it is proven. All landlords are crazy regardless of nationality. Our local landlords are in good company.
That thought is not comforting at all....
