(There are a variety of other questions I ask, but as if I'd tell. Ha.)
I believe that once you know a person's occupation, it is very difficult to stop your brain from stereotyping. And that deviates from the real person you're trying to know. If you spend enough time talking about something else, by the time the actual job(scope) is eventually known, it would not matter anymore.
I have never understood the national obsession with jobs. And age.
Nor have I understood the way some people let their jobs rule their lives.
